This workshop will show you just how fun and liberating backbends can be.
If you usually shy away from backbends because you think you need to be a super bendy gymnast or an expert yogi, you are really missing out. A backbend practice not only helps to stretch out tight shoulders, chests and hip flexors, it also strengthens all posterior chain muscles and helps with posture.

The workshop will consist of mobility drills, partner and group work, challenges and some backbend inversion work (for those who want to)

We are going to experiment with different techniques that will get even the tightest backs moving and make the bendiest of backs strong.

No experience needed

As always, this will be a high energy workshop with music, fun, sweat and laughter.

Sarah is a 500 hour EYT yoga teacher and mobility coach with over 20 years experience in the fitness industry and a background in biomechanics
