The Life Centre is dedicated to bringing greater balance and stillness to our community, by providing the tools for personal reflection, exploration and transformation. Our schedule of yoga and other events is designed to provide you with the expertise you need to live a happier, healthier life.

Authenticity ~ We believe that there are many authentic paths of yoga, all of which deserve respect. We also recognise that the tradition of yoga is ever evolving and we encourage our teachers to maintain their unique style and creativity. Our teachers really live the values that they inspire in others.

Community ~ We are not just a centre for yoga and wellbeing, we are a thriving community. Many of our original students have gone on to train through our sister company Yogacampus and now teach for us today.

Giving Back ~ We are committed to supporting causes that support and empower their communities through yoga. We are proud to be working with Ourmala, Movement for Healing and The Teen Yoga Foundation to support the work that they do.

Teaching Opportunities

In order to become a cover teacher at The Life Centre we require a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience. Our scheduled teachers recommend 5 to 6 teachers that they consider most appropriate to cover their particular classes. Please attend the classes you feel match your teaching style so you know who you'd like to cover and what you can offer.

If you’d like to join our community and help out around our centres with daily tasks such as laying mats and tidying away props then please get in touch with rachel@thelifecentre.com to find out more. We exchange 1 hour of work for 1 free class at The Life Centre.
