Book WorkshopPincha Mayurasana is also known as Feathered Peacock or Forearm Stand. This yoga pose looks effortless, but actually can be quite tricky!
In this workshop we will learn the mechanics of ‘how’ for your body, in order to feel more empowered upside down.
There will be the important anatomy stuff:
- Harnessing flexibility
- Building strength
- Creating neural pathways of sensation from muscle to mind
- How to fall safely
Alongside the philosophical stuff such as:
- The bravery to try
- The humility of falling
- The sassy power of getting back up
What we do on the mat, how we treat ourselves and develop a dialogue the most profound testing ground for life beyond the movement.
Inversions can be scary, but the best stuff happens of the other side of discomfort
You are so so welcome to come join no matter where you’re at on your movement journey - 100% you do not need to be able to do pincha or headstand, but some experience of movement is required. And for those of you already we flying, we’ll add funky pincha for an extra challenge.
