Beth Morgan's wonderful retreat is positioned around Autumn Equinox as we head into the dark half of the year. The equinox is an auspicious time when the earth and sun come into balance. We will use the energy of this Equinox to connect with the earth and our own inner truth.

Accommodation

Red Welly (Ty Coch), an idyllic, sustainable rural retreat set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with uninterrupted views across Caernarfon Bay to Anglesey and Holy Island. The venue has five acres of land complete with its own beach, stone circle, and a stream…. there is room to dance freely, sit around the camp fire or chant mantras beneath the stars. Positioned on the North Wales Pilgrims trail, just minutes from the famous St Buenos Church (where Pilgrims would gather before moving on to Bardsey Island) it's a spiritual and sacred place. Boutique style rooms are extremely comfortable and and finished to a very high standard.

The Practices

Kundalini Yoga - is over 5000 year old and is often called the Mother of all yogas or the yoga of awareness. It is a dynamic blend of postures, pranayam(breathing), mantra and meditation, which teach you the art of relaxation, self healing and mental elevation. It is regarded as one of the fastest working yoga’s in bringing about change in the body, mind and spirit. Kundalini Yoga will meet you where you are and takes you where you want to go. It is very powerful and it works fast.

Yoga Nidra means 'yogic sleep' or enlightened sleep - it is an astonishing, accessible and totally effortless yoga practice available to all. Yoga Nidra does not involve any physical movement and promotes deep healing and very profound rest at every level of being: physical, mental and emotional. The combination of deep physical rest, revitalisation and the settling of emotions and thoughts results in improved productivity, heightened intelligence and enhanced creativity. Yoga Nidra is effective in the relief of insomnia, anxiety, depression, and other stress-related problems.. Yoga Nidra is also helpful in the management of acute and chronic pain, as a tool for self enquiry. In fact it has so many applications because everyone can do it.

About Beth Morgan

Beth is a Kundalini Yoga teacher based in Manchester, UK who is able to compassionately guide others through challenging times of stress, anxiety, fear, pain, and struggle, because she has travelled this path herself. As a Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Nidra facilitator, her life purpose is to help others find healing and balance by connecting to the peace and light within themselves.

Her offerings focus on the integration of mind, body and spirit,
allowing students to work at their own pace in a compassionate and safe environment, to reach their highest and happiest potential. Beth is registered with Yoga Alliance UK and has studied extensively with Kia Miller, Tommy Rosen and Maya Fiennes from the US and Uma Dinsmore Tuli and Nirlipta Tuli in the UK.

Beth runs regular classes and events in Manchester, and is also the founder of ‘Be The Light Retreats”. Be The Light Retreats (of which this is one) was set up at the start of 2018 by Beth Morgan to provide retreats to heal and nourish your mind, body and soul back in her homeland of Wales.
